We are excited to announce yet another significant step in our Sustainability journey. On Tuesday 28, March 2023, the Housing Finance Bank Executive team led by Mr. Michael K. Mugabi the Bank’s Managing Director, Peace K. Ayebazibwe, Executive Director, Marrietta Naiga – Chief Risk Officer (HFB Sustainability lead) and John Baptist Kaweesi -Head Mortgages and Consumer banking met the Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director Ms. Dorothy Kisaka at the KCCA City Hall in Kampala over opportunities the two institutions can utilize to build a sustainable Kampala.
During the deliberations, Ms. Dorothy Kisaka highlighted KCCA’s Smart City campaign that gives a comprehensive outlook at how the authority is leveraging the use of technology in service delivery while empowering end users, infrastructural development in the city as well as positively impacting the people of Kampala and their wellbeing.
Mr. Michael K. Mugabi in addition expounded on HFBs 2023-27 strategy that holds the sustainability agenda as focus area. He also brought forward the bank’s efforts in providing convenient, relevant, and affordable housing and financial solutions for all Ugandans.
The Bank looks forward to a fruitful working partnership with the Kampala Capital City Authority.
