We were delighted to be part of the Breast Cancer Fundraising Golf Tournament, which was jointly hosted by the Uganda Golf Club – Ladies Section with Uganda Women’s Cancer Support Organisation (UWOCASO). UWOCASO was founded by 4 cancer survivors to provide support to those directly affected by cancer and their families.
As Housing Finance Bank, we are excited to be part of this noble cause because cancer affects us all. As a bank, we have an ESG agenda where we participate in causes that add value to the communities in which we operate.
We believe that the power of collaborative effort can put an end to this scourge. As a society, we have all made great strides in the fight against cancer. Let us continue to stand together to our support our families and friends who are already affected. A healthy nation is a wealthy nation.
